Blah

Okay Savika, I figured I better write 'something' so that I don't let you down today lol. Uhmm yeah I don't have much to say today. It was a pretty normal day to say the least. I'm a little disappointed though because the X-files aren't on anymore! They used to play reruns every night at 10pm, but as off this week they aren't anymore so now I'm bummed out because there's nothing good on at 10...

Still haven't fixed my iPod yet, bah. I don't know what's wrong with the stupid thing. I'm probably gonna end up giving in and just pay Apple the $54 for technical help because I figure it's better then paying for a brand new one right?

I cleaned out one of my dresser drawers today lol. It took almost 2 hours just to clean out the one drawer! I didn't realize that I had so much crap shoved in there. I found receipts for Best Buy from 2002 hah. I can't complain that much though because I did find a gift certificate for Coles and one for Roots lol. Here's hoping they haven't expired though because they're also from 2002 lol. My mom seemed to get a laugh out of the whole thing though, since I had to sit on the floor after the first hour cuz I was out of breath lol.

Well that's about it for today. I'll post something tomorrow since you all just love my writings!! *cough cough* RIGHT???

Later all,

The joy that is the GO bus...

Okay so I got up this morning and went to the GO station as normal to get my bus, only to find out that it brokedown! It's now 9:30am and we're 15 minutes behind schedule. Meanwhile, there are 3 other GO buses that have pulled into the station and are just sitting there until their route time rolls along. Hellooooo!!! Let me get this straight...we're all going to be late for class now and the next 2 hours of buses going to York are just sitting there while the driver reads the paper?! FINALLY, after 20 minutes now our driver has an epiphany and decides to switch buses with one of the other drivers, seeing how she has an hour before her route time anyways and doesn't have to worry about how long it will take for a replacment bus to get there. Don't you just love our bus system? Well that's how my morning started out...

Other than that my day went okay so far. A new episode of 24 is on tonight so I'm looking forward to that! Does anyone else think that the President in that show is an idiot?! Then again, they've done a good depiction of the real U.S. President! LOL.

Okay well that's all I got for now, so I'll write back later. C ya!

iPod Revolt

Okay so here's the deal...Apple has put out a new update for iTunes (6.0.3) and anyone who has a mac computer (like me) or an iPod (like me) has to install this update right, EXCEPT it has buggered up everyone's iPods!!! After you install the update, the moment that you plug your iPod in to update the song list it either freezes your computer or this nice little message comes up that says you must restart your computer. I thought it was just mine until I went on to the Apple site and learned that a whole bunch of people are having the same problem, which is how we discovered that it was the latest update that caused it.

So I call Apple for technical support and they tell me that I have to pay $54 for them to be able to help me because the warranty on my iPod has expired...assuming that they even CAN help me over the phone!! Are you kidding me?!?! My other option is to take it to the nearest Apple store and have it sent out to be serviced, which is crazy because there's nothing wrong it, it's the update that needs to be fixed. So far, the only thing anyone has been able to do in order to fix theirs is put a new hard drive in it, which costs $250...you may as well buy a new iPod for that price!! This is crazy because Apple is the one who screwed up our iPod's up and yet we're supposed to pay to have them fixed?? Oh, and to make things even better Apple is denying that they don't know anything about the problem. Clearly they must know as the message boards on their site are filling up with people claiming their having the same problem and Apple checks those boards daily so they can filter the content.

My suggestion to anyone who has an iPod is DO NOT install the latest update for iTunes, or you may end up having the same issue as the rest of us, and unfortunately you're on your own as Apple isn't much help! I think that we should write to Oprah and that she should buy us all new iPods LOL!! I mean afterall, if she can afford to buy her entire audience cars what's a few measly iPods right???

My First Blog

Well hi everyone! This is my first blog so I'm still getting used to this whole thing. Just finished updating my website tonight...and may I say it's looking pretty 'pimped' out lol! It took me like 10 mins just to decide what layout I wanted for my blog, but I'm a sucker for green what can I say?!

I'm reading this book right now called 'Freakonomics' and it's pretty good. It's really random stuff, but interesting nonetheless. For exampleee, if you're selling your house and you leave it on the market for an extra 10 days you can make almost $10,000 more by doing so...did you know that huh huh did you?! YAH DIDN'T THINK SO hah.

Oh check this out, my friend emailed it to me the other day and it's pretty creepy:

1) New York City has 11 letters

2) Afghanistan has 11 letters.

3) Ramsin Yuseb (The terrorist who threatened to destroy the Twin
Towers in 1993) has 11 letters.

4) George W Bush has 11 letters.

This could be a mere coincidence, but this gets more interesting:

1) New York is the 11th state.

2) The first plane crashing against the Twin Towers was flight number
11.

3) Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers. 9 2 = 11

4) Flight 77 which also hit Twin Towers, was carrying 65 passengers.
6 5 = 11

5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known. 9 1 1 = 11

6) The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number
911. 9 1 1 = 11.

Sheer coincidence..?! Read on and make up your own mind:

1) The total number of victims inside all the hi-jacked planes was
254. 2 5 4 = 11.

2) September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year. Again 2 5 4
= 11.

3) The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004. 3 1 1 2 4 = 11.

4) The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers
incident.

Now this is where things get totally eerie:

The most recognized symbol for the US, after the Stars & Stripes, is
the Eagle. The following verse is taken from the Quran, the Islamic
holy book:

"For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle.
The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo,
while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced: for
the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah and there was
peace."

That verse is number 9.11 of the Quran.

Still unconvinced about all of this..?! Try this and see how you feel
afterwards, it made my hair stand on end:

Open Microsoft Word and do the following:

1. Type in capitals Q33 NY. This is the flight number of the first
plane to hit one of the Twin Towers.

2. Highlight the Q33 NY.

3. Change the font size to 48.

4. Change the actual font to the WINGDINGS

What do you think now?!!

...THAT'S FREAKIN WEIRD EH?! Anyways I'm going to bed now cuz it's getting late, but I'll write back soon. Later!
